SciStories is a woman-owned agency that balances deep education in science with training in communication to help tell your best story.
In 2008, Sigrid Knemeyer began providing visual communications for the Broad Institute. Over the next 12 years, she went on to visualize the science of more than 50 scientists working at the frontiers of bioscience in places like MIT, Caltech, and Stanford, with work featured in dozens of journals, including Nature, Science, and Cell. Her reputation and networks immediately made SciStories a top choice partner for scientists, organizations, and biotech companies.
n 2004, Dirk Knemeyer began consulting with Silicon Valley software companies, working from the C-suite to key internal organizations to impact strategy, marketing, operations, and product. His teams empowered household names like Apple, Microsoft, and the Administration of President Barack Obama, as well as startups that were acquired by category leaders like Shutterfly, Google, and Yahoo!, to reach and exceed their goals.
Today, SciStories’ team of strategists, illustrators, designers, and developers has forged a new spirit based on these deep roots of science communication and creative agency services. Since 2020, we have collaborated with incredible innovators – researchers, nonprofit organizations, and biotech companies – to meet and exceed their objectives.
